Stepping outside the narrow confines of the concept of the common platform games of Super Mario, in Super Mario the Star Finder you'll find a simple observation game for kids, where the only objective is to find the lost stars.
Curiously, the different levels of Super Mario the Star Finder display different promotional backgrounds from other Super Mario games, many of which you also have access to through one of the game menus.
